Usually a four foot level will work so don't go out and buy the more expensive 8-foot level.

In addition to the above-mentioned tools, you may need to have a plumbing wrench, a measuring tape, a glue gun and caulking, a pair of pliers, and a ladder. Of course, it is also advised that you think along the lines of safety.
